The Transformation Begins

So we are six weeks out from delivery - if my counting serves me well these days, that means 42 days - yikes! We decided that means it is due time to get moving on the nursery. We've spent the past few weeks working on a new room for Abbie - a butterfly theme! She is officially 'moved' upstairs into that new room and her previous room (downstairs) is now ready to be transformed into the nursery.

If you were a frequent guest of the 'threepeighs' blog, you'll remember we went with 'smokey grape' for Abbie's nursery. Baby #2 is getting a combo deal - 'creme brulee' (cream) and 'sage sweater' (green). Where do they get these names anyway? I'd like to be the guy that has that job - "Bob what should we call this shade of blue? How about Oceanic Summer Storm?" Must be a high stress profession - can't imagine the pressure to meet the deadlines...

The family blog returns!

"4 Peighs" is finally here! Many have asked, most have wondered, all will be thrilled - Pilar, Abbie and I have decided it is time to have another go at the blogging life inorder to keep you up-to-date on all the happenings in our expanding family!

Officially due on February 10th, 2008, Pilar is currently 33 1/2 weeks along in her pregnancy and hoping that delivery will come early! Abbie (now almost two years old - January 22nd) is anxiously awaiting the arrival of her sibling (the gender is yet unknown!) - everyday she makes sure to remind us that the "baby's kicking!"
